Today is Ryan's 14th birthday! We actually celebrated it last night with grandma and grandpa and cousin, Elliott. Ryan opted NOT to invite a friend this year as he's still getting over his bug from earlier in the week. We enjoyed pizza from Abby's and icecream cake from Baskin Robins. YUM!! Today, his real birthday, we took a walk outside with Jorie and Joshua. It was beautiful today! And this evening, I took all three kids to Wendy's per Ryan's request. Ryan is now 14 and we always told him when he turned 14, he could get his own cell phone. It has been fun seeing him get phone calls (from Grandma and dad!) and become more independant. Actually, most of his peers have had cell phones for years now. Many had them in gradeschool! So, Ryan felt it was time he had one too.
