Reflecting back on this year, I can't help but think of where we were right now 10 years ago. The year 2001 was a HUGE one for us. In 2001, we were planning our wedding and were married in April. ♥♥
During that time, we were also planning Ryan's Make A Wish trip to Disney World. Not knowing how much time we had left with Ryan, we wanted him to have his wish as soon as possible. We traveled to Florida/Disney World just a month after our wedding! We stayed at a place called Give Kids the World. An amazing resort built just for kids with terminal diseases to stay with their families. We had our very own little house and a wheelchair van was provided for us. We received free meals as well as ice cream any time we wanted and as much as we wanted from their ice cream parlor! Mmmm :) As if that wasn't enough, they also provided us with spending money while we were there.
Soon after the trip to Disney World, we were moving into our new home. It is hard to believe that it has really been 10 years since all of these events took place!! Wondering what the next 10 years will bring?! Happy New Year everyone!
