We've been debating for a long time back and forth whether or not to get bunkbeds in Jorie and Josh's room. Since it looks as if we won't be building for a while still and these two will be sharing a room for who knows how long... we needed to do something to make the most of the space. With bunkbeds, we were able to get rid of Joshua's crib and make room for another dresser. We went back and forth on the bunkbeds idea. Wondering if they were safe enough; especially for Joshua. But, the ladder is very easy to remove and is always removed if we know Joshua is going to be playing in his room without an adult right there. So far, he has not figured out how to climb the ends of the beds and we are hoping he won't figure that out for a while. He's still pretty small and I think it would hard for him with the large gap in between them anyway. They were BOTH thrilled when we brought them home on Saturday. And Jorie wants to be in her room alot more now. :)
